Crop PDF pages
Scanned pages often carry wide, uneven margins or stray marks near the edge that waste space and look untidy when printed or viewed on a small screen. DMI's crop tool lets you trim each side of a PDF page by an exact measurement in millimetres, previewing the result before you apply it, and choosing whether the crop applies to every page or a chosen range. The trimming happens entirely in your browser, so the original file is never uploaded anywhere during the process. It is a quick way to tighten up scanned documents, remove printer registration marks, or standardize margins across a multi-page PDF before sharing it.
How it works
- Upload the PDF you want to crop.
- Set the margin to trim from each side, in millimetres.
- Click Crop and download the trimmed PDF.
Frequently asked questions
Is cropping a PDF free?
Yes, DMI's crop tool is completely free, with no signup and no limit on how many pages or documents you trim. Every margin option is available without a paid plan, and no watermark is added to the cropped output.
Are my files private and safe?
Yes. Cropping happens entirely in your browser, so the PDF is never uploaded to a server. We log usage metadata, including your IP address, tool name, filename, and file size, for up to 12 months to help prevent abuse, never the file content.
Can I crop only some pages instead of the whole document?
Yes. You can apply the same crop to every page, or specify a page range so only certain pages are trimmed, which is useful when only a subset of a scanned document has the extra margin you want removed.
