The tools on this site process files locally in your browser — file contents are never uploaded. Compress runs in your browser too; only if your browser cannot run the compression engine does it fall back to our server, where the file is uploaded over HTTPS and deleted immediately after processing. We keep a usage log (IP address, tool name, filename, file size) for up to 12 months to prevent abuse. File contents are never stored.
